Anxiety & Depression
We won't just manage symptoms. We get to know the parts of you holding the fear, the heaviness, the exhaustion — and gently uncover what they've been protecting all along.
Work on thisSomething feels off. Maybe it has for a while — or maybe everything just fell apart at once. Either way, you're here. That's enough to start.
01 — Welcome
I'm Jacob. I'm a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in East Falls, Philadelphia. I work with adults across the full range — from quiet, persistent dissatisfaction to genuine crisis. We start wherever you are.
My approach is depth-oriented and psychoanalytic, which means we're interested in the whole picture — not just managing symptoms, but understanding where they came from. Before you can create lasting change, you have to develop an understanding of what's actually driving the patterns. That's what we build here.
More about me
02 — Who I work with
My door is open to anyone navigating the kinds of struggles people bring into therapy — anxiety, depression, life transitions, faith shifts, relationships, identity, grief, the slow burn of feeling stuck.
I also have a particular focus on men's work. It's something I've trained in, lived through in my own life, and seen up close in my work with clients. For many men, therapy itself can be a hard space to step into — and harder still to find a therapist who actually gets it. So I built a practice where they could.
If you're a man — especially a father, a partner, or a high-achieving professional — and you've been quietly carrying something for a while, you'll find that the work here is calibrated for what you're actually dealing with.
If you're not a man, you're equally welcome here. The depth-oriented approach works the same way regardless.

We won't just manage symptoms. We get to know the parts of you holding the fear, the heaviness, the exhaustion — and gently uncover what they've been protecting all along.
Work on thisSo much of what men carry got tucked away early — the doubt, the anger, the questions that never got asked out loud. This is a space where we finally take an honest look at what's been there all along, with someone who specializes in this work.
Learn more about men's therapyThe shift into fatherhood is one of the biggest identity ruptures most men ever experience — and almost no one prepares us for it. We sit with the love, the resentment, the grief for who you used to be, and the parts of you afraid you're going to mess this up.
Learn more about fatherhood therapyFrom the outside you're still handling it. Underneath, something's gone flat. We get curious about what's actually driving the engine — so change stops being another reset you have to white-knuckle.
Learn more about burnout therapyYou built the life you were told to want, and a quiet "is this it?" keeps surfacing. We listen to what the restlessness is actually pointing at — and trust that there's usually a knowing underneath worth hearing again.
Learn more about midlife & purposeBeginnings, endings, the messy middle — transitions ask a lot of us. We slow down and listen to the parts of you navigating the change, and the ones quietly holding what's being left behind.
