You're still functioning. You're also running on empty.

From the outside, you're handling it. The work gets done, the emails get answered, nobody would guess. But somewhere underneath the output, something's gone flat — and no amount of pushing through is touching it anymore.

High-functioning burnout rarely looks like falling apart. It looks like still showing up, still delivering, and quietly feeling less and less while you do it. That's the part that's hard to explain to anyone — and the part worth taking seriously.

What it actually looks like when you're still holding it together.

  • You hit every deadline and answer every message — then feel almost nothing when it's done
  • Sleep doesn't fix the tiredness the way it used to
  • A short fuse with the exact people you least want to snap at
  • Sunday-night dread that's started bleeding into the rest of the week
  • You can't remember the last time something felt genuinely fun, not just handled
  • Wired and exhausted at the same time — too tired to do anything, too restless to rest
  • A quiet sense that you're running a race you never actually agreed to enter

If some of that lands, you're in the right place.

Why "just rest more" has never actually worked for you.

You've probably already heard the advice — set boundaries, take a vacation, log off. And you've probably noticed it doesn't hold. That's not a willpower problem. For a lot of people, the inability to stop is doing a job: it's protecting against something underneath — a fear of not being enough, old messages that tied your worth to your performance, a sense that if you slow down, something catches up with you.

My approach is depth-oriented, which means we don't just manage the symptom — we get curious about what's driving the engine. When you understand what's actually keeping you running, change stops being another reset you have to white-knuckle and starts being something that lasts.

We meet for 50 minutes, usually weekly. We figure out what's underneath the exhaustion — together, at a pace that works for you.

Do you take insurance? +

I'm private pay at $125 per 50-minute session, and sliding scale pricing is available — meaning the fee adjusts to fit your budget, no forms or proof of income required. If the full rate is a stretch, just say so on our free call and we'll land on a number that works.

Is virtual as effective? +

Yes. In-person sessions are available at the East Falls office in Philadelphia. Virtual sessions are open to anyone in Pennsylvania — the work runs just as deep either way.

How long does this take? +

Some people want a few focused months on a specific knot. Others stay longer as the work opens into bigger things. Both are valid — we figure it out together.

Is this confidential? +

Yes. What you bring stays between us, within the standard legal and ethical limits we'll go over.
